Amazing experience! Definitely the best fried squid I’ve ever had for an appetizer and for 14 euros. 0% beer for only 2 euros and main course between 12 and 18 euros. Very good prices for the high quality. Also, a special thanks for Andre, that made my experience even better being so kind and giving amazing advice.

We had a VERY nice experience here. The waiter explained the whole menu and the suggestions in perfect English. He took us to the kitchen to show us all the different meats and picked out the best ones for us. Service was exceptional and the food was the best we've had in Portuga…Mais avaliações

He took us to the kitchen to show us all the different meats and picked out the best ones for us. Service was exceptional and the food was the best we've had in Portugal for a very decent price. We had three main courses with two people because it was just so damn delicious! The food was seasoned very well and the meat and fish from the charcoal grill was perfect. It gave it a wonderful taste and some of the meats 'melted' in our mouths. When we asked for more chips and salad, they gave it to us free of charge. The food, atmosphere and service were the best we've had. We will come back and I urge everyone reading this review, to try this restaurant!- Comida

Excellent food, local and authentic! Highly recommend! Affordable prices. Some of the waiters don't speak a lot of English but it is possible to communicate and order.

We decided to stop and check out the town and we were all getting hungry. We pulled into a parking lot and saw this restaurant we decided to take a chance. The staff were very friendly and our waiter was very friendly. He spoke English to our surprise and helpful in explaining the menu. The food was spectacular! You will not be sorry you stopped here!!

always have great seafood and local cuisine with very reasonable price. The chef, the interior design, the service,etc, all nice. Remember that the huge crab which you must try is only available on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Second time here after 3 pm. First, the boredom on the staff faces, then they serve a divine meal, with the best they have to give. A great Portuguese stew! Later, the broth with bread. Divine! want to come back at decent hours to enjoy 100%.
Amazing Portuguese food cooked on a wood burning grill lots of options, very friendly staff and comfortable seating.

Lovely place to eat with family and friends. Best to book as it gets very busy. Lots of seating inside and out. Aircon in the outside spaces in the summer too!

Wow! Such a gem. They served us even if they barely had any food left (arrived closer to the closing time) . Best pork cheeks I ever had. Tender, and super delicious. Will definitely come back to this great spot on the way to Algarve.
Food is simply brilliant. Instantly became one of my favourite restaurants in Alentejo.

Ambiente acolhedor, staff simpático e muito profissional. Tive-mos o prazer de conhecer o dono, Sr Canário, que também gere o "Castro" onde também tivemos o prazer de almoçar no dia anterior. Dois restaurantes a visitar outra vez, com mais tempo para degustar a comida alentejana. A equipa da Shining Fields a gradece a forma como foi recebida. Recomenda-se!!!
